Our main objective at KS Dobermans is to be responsible breeders of the Doberman Pinscher. We are based in St Louis Missouri, established, and owned by Kelly Schmidt since 2017.Â
We have a desire to help educate all Dog owners in the areas of health, nutrition, and training for their dogs. We believe this starts with a proper nutrition plan and nurturing environment that includes balanced training and behavior support. Although Dobermans are our focus we are available to assist with all breeds. Â
We specialize in producing AKC registered Doberman Pinschers, that are highly desired family pets, champion show dogs, personal protection dogs, and performance sport dogs. Our dogs are fully health tested and kept up to date with the Health requirement’s of the OFA –The Canine Health Information Center.
We focus on temperament, conformation, health, and structural soundness. We abide by the American Kennel Club standards of breeding, and meet the Breeder of Heart standards.
We are unique in our breeding program as we prepare all of our puppies for their new home with temperament and crate training. We offer puppy training starting at 8 weeks of age and beyond. We provide board and train programs, private training, and group class training. We specialize in Therapy Dog Training, and Medical Service Dog Training. Kellyjean Schmidt is a Certified AKC Evaluator for Trick Dog, Star Puppy, and Canine Good Citizen Titles. Training is available in all of these areas for all breeds.
We also offer boarding services for all KS Dobermans puppies through their adulthood for a discounted fee. All KS Dobermans have a forever home with us and will always be welcomed back at any life stage for any reason.
We have a love for these BEAUTIFUL animals. They truly are a one-of-a-kind breed!

We got our sweet Amara Grey from Kelly in March of 25. Kelly’s been super helpful thru the entire process, has sent us videos to help thru the ear posting process, and is shears willing to provide guidance. Amara is stunning and the perfect missing piece to our family. Forever grateful for Kelly!

I am so grateful to know Kelly. Her dog training and knowledge is out of this world! I trained my own service animal, so having her expertise to confide in – and to pick her brain – has truly been a blessing. Her dogs grow up to be, from what I can see, happy, loyal, and loving companions. Having a dog is one thing, but being able to communicate effectively with them is another! She helps one understand that just like people, animals need to be taught that they don’t need to be living I. Survival mode, and i believe she helps bridge that gap for the canine brain. I am grateful for being able to say I know and love, Mamma-Kelly.
